Description

A full 200 metre roll of black rope in 9 mm with a polyester core. The favourite among rental companies setting up and taking down every week: a millimetre thicker than standard, with noticeably more grip in the hand.

Why 9 mm?

  • Nicer to tension – thicker rope sits better in the hand, even with gloves on
  • More reserve – extra tensile strength for larger canvases and longer guy lines
  • Longer service life – wears more slowly under intensive use
  • Polyester core – barely stretches, so the tent stays tensioned
  • Compatible – fits ratchet blocks and pulleys for rope of 8–11 mm

8, 9 or 10 mm?

8 mm is the standard size for average stretch tents. 9 mm is the safe middle ground for intensive use. For the heaviest applications choose 10 mm.
